What started in 1988 with only nine tables and Kenosha’s only authentic wood-burning oven has grown to the area’s premiere rustic Italian restaurant with a touch of modern. Mangia offers exceptional seasonal menus, fine wine lists and quality service that customers have come to expect and enjoy.
Originally opened by brothers Gino and Tony along with their father Gene ‘Gig’ Mantuano, Mangia expanded in 1990, combining three small buildings with an outdoor dining garden patio. In 1992, Susan Mantuano-Tishuk joined as part owner and manager. Fast forward to 2014 as a third generation, Tre Mantuano takes the lead as Restaurant Manager at the newly remodeled Mangia Wine Bar. We are thankful for our past and look forward to the future.
